UT Southwestern Medical Center at Red Bird to open next month

DALLAS INNOVATES: The UT Southwestern Medical Center at Red Bird is expected to open July 18.

The 150,000-square-foot regional medical center crated about 100 new jobs, and it will house the first joint pediatric enterprise between Children’s Health and UT Southwestern.

It replaces the old Sears store at Red Bird Mall and will serve as the anchor for Reimagine Redbird, which is transforming the 1978 mall and its formerly barren parking lots into a neighborhood with apartments, a hotel, shopping and offices. (READ MORE)
