UNITRA RENEE

Unitra Renee serves as Chief of Staff to CEO Terrence G. Maiden, and VP of People and Culture for Russell Glen. She is responsible for developing and supporting the company’s organizational structure, managing its people experience, and assisting with strategy and implementation of increasing brand awareness. She plays a vital role in helping to deepen the impact of our CEO’s philanthropic endeavors through the Maiden Foundation.

Unitra’s background and experience has created an eclectic blend of skills. She began working in commercial real estate over 15 years ago while working for Kimco Realty, a REIT headquartered in New York. She helped manage the Park Avenue office while supporting leasing agents for the northern region. She later transferred to the Dallas office to support central region agents for over ten years.

Subsequently, Unitra worked with DAL-TECH Engineering, Inc. as an independent consultant, assisting the president and owner while overseeing HR and marketing. At DAL-TECH, she was privileged to aid in writing proposals and procure local and government contracts for multi-million-dollar civil engineering projects in Dallas. There, she also observed the beginning stages of large infrastructure projects through to completion.

Prior to coordinating real estate and development needs, Unitra worked with Essence Magazine in NYC, coordinating fashion and beauty photoshoots, contributing to creative concepts, and editing articles. She has produced shoots for celebrities like Naomi Campbell, Mary J Blige, Anita Baker, and Morgan Freeman, to name a few, and later independently managed creatives while booking them for companies like Swarovski, Disney, and Sony Music.

Unitra holds a BA in Organizational Behavior & Change from New York University, and an AA in Organizational Psychology from Phoenix University. She has certificates in Business Administration from American Business Institute of NY, and in Emotional Intelligence coaching through International Coaching Federation. With over 20 years of corporate experience, she’s managed offices from Wall Street to Park Avenue. After owning a small franchise for over 10 years, she now serves on the executive team at Russell Glen of Dallas, and offers independent coaching and consulting through her company, ARTinU. Passionate about people and community, Unitra has worked with entrepreneurs, employees, college students, and young adults. Her proudest role has been ‘mom’ to her three college graduates, the role that taught her the importance of inner strength and adaptability. Unitra’s joy lies in serving diverse teams, supporting visionaries, and bringing ideas to life.
