The UT Southwestern Medical Center at Red Bird is expected to open July 18.
The 150,000-square-foot regional medical center crated about 100 new jobs, and it will house the first joint pediatric enterprise between Children’s Health and UT Southwestern .
It replaces the old Sears store at Red Bird Mall and will serve as the anchor for Reimagine Redbird , which is transforming the 1978 mall and its formerly barren parking lots into a neighborhood with apartments, a hotel, shopping and offices.
